Conclusion of War:
The American Revolution can been viewed either in a military light which is extremely important towards the shaping of the American nation. Those that inhabited the New Land were constantly being taxed unbelievable amounts and were not going to deal with that anymore. Starting with acts of rebellion such as the Boston Tea Party, the rag-tag group of rebellious colonists with ambitions and dreams of being free of their oppression from the Red Coats used their knowledge. This knowledge consists of knowing the land. Their willpower and determination strengthened their underdog army over the dominant British, with help from France. Even after the signing and approval of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, battles still lasted until 1783. Cornwallis surrendered to Washington and the Continental Army at Yorktown after colonists gained aid from the French. Very soon after, the Treaty of Paris was signed on September 3, 1783, thus ending the war and setting the Americans free of British reign.
